ABOUT ME
Hey, my name is Brooke and I’m the Editor and Chief of the inaugural edition of the THIMUN Thread!
While I am American by blood, I currently attend Jakarta Intercultural School in Indonesia and have grown up all over the world. Being a senior means I don’t have much free time but when I do find a moment to spare you’ll catch me hanging out with friends or perfecting my pizza dough recipe. I am so honored to be part of this conference and am lucky to be working with this amazing team.
We thank you for your readership and look forward to getting to know you all!

ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Caitlyn Wihardja, and I’m currently a 12th grade student at Sekolah Ciputra in Surabaya, Indonesia.
In my free time, you’ll find me rereading my favorite books or on the hunt for a good cup of matcha. I’m beyond thrilled to be a part of the THIMUN press team and play a part in capturing the event’s inner workings — from the heated debates to candid behind-the-scene moments. I’m excited to be able to share stories highlighting the pressing global issues that the conference will shed light on, as well as learn and connect from everyone’s unique perspective.
I look forward to meeting you all and having a memorable experience together!

ABOUT ME
Hey! I’m Ethan, a year 3 at ACS(International) in Singapore and I’m delighted to be a part of the THIMUN Singapore press team for 2024.
I have been involved in my school’s MUN CCA for 3 years and I have found myself at numerous MUN conferences during those years and found myself amongst the good, the bad and the ugly but have always enjoyed the process. With this year’s conference comes new perspectives, new experiences and fresh challenges and I can’t wait to be able to face them. I’m looking forward to building some absolutely amazing memories at this year’s conference, sprinkled with the thrills of the press!
All the best,
Ethan Chan

ABOUT ME
Hi, everyone! I’m Zoe, a sophomore from Surabaya (Indonesia’s second-largest city, in case you didn’t know!).
And some of the things you probably wouldn’t guess that I love most (listed in no particular order) include, but is definitely not limited to: playing Schumann on the piano, eating nasi goreng jawa at ungodly hours of the night, discussing/debating youth-centered sustainability strategies, the absolute mastery that is Money Heist (otherwise known as La Casa De Papel), and of course, being here as a reporter for The THIMUN Thread!
I’m excited to capture fiery debates in the SDC, and watching the delegates shed light on maximizing key demographics for a greater good—But most of all, I hope I’ll be able to help The THIMUN Thread become a testament to the unique strength of our generation, in combatting the greatest threats our world faces, MUN-style.
